Six Reasons to Choose SculpSure Over CoolSculpting

Non-surgical body contouring has become a popular way to sculpt the body without discomfort or downtime. With a variety of options in non-surgical body contouring to choose from today, how do you know which procedure will suit your needs and aesthetic goals best? At Virginia Surgical Arts, we have six reasons why our patients choose the cutting-edge SculpSure over CoolSculpting for all of their body contouring concerns.

Reason #1 : Laser Technology at its Finest (and Most Comfortable)

CoolSculpting uses a process called cryolipolysis, which cools fat cells under the skin’s surface to destroy them. This process involves a pinching a pulling sensation, often leading to bruising.

In contrast, SculpSure utilizes thermolipolysis, a laser technology that heats fats cells to release them from tissue so they can naturally be excreted from the body. This process is usually more comfortable for patients, as the laser simply sits on your skin and goes through waves of heating and cooling sensations.

Reason #2 : Shorter Treatment Time

  •    One SculpSure Session Duration- 25 minutes
  •    One CoolSculpting Session Duration- 60 minutes (or more)

We know your time is valuable- which would you prefer?

Reason #3 : Ability to Treat Multiple Areas in One Session

Thanks to SculpSure’s four applicators, we can treat up to four different areas of the body at one time. CoolSculpting can only treat one area at a time. This means you can treat more of your body in less time (and for a lesser cost).

Reason #4 : Stimulates Collagen and Elastin Production

You read that right! Thanks to SculpSure’s method of heating (thermolipolysis), it stimulates the skin’s natural collagen and elastic, therefore boosting its production. This leads to smoother, tighter, and more supple skin.

The cooling process (cryolipolysis) of CoolSculpting unfortunately does not have this added benefit, therefore no skin tightening or boost in collagen or elastin occurs.

Reason #5 : Results After a Single Treatment

In our SculpSure, patients see a permanent fat pocket reduction of 25% in 6-12 weeks and can achieve their desired results in just a single treatment.

In comparison, CoolSculpting patients see a permanent fat pocket reduction of around 22% in 8-16 weeks. While some get similar results to SculpSure, most require two or three treatment sessions to see the desired results, making SculpSure the more efficient of the two options.

Reason #6 : More Affordable
CoolSculpting typically costs around $2400 per treatment. In comparison, SculpSure generally costs around $1400 per treatment ( which breaks down to about $350 per applicator, with 4 applicators). The difference in price is usually a deciding factor for patients, and SculpSure’s pricepoint is far lower than CoolSculpting.

We believe the choice is clear. Though SculpSure is the newest in non-surgical body contouring, it’s the most advanced on the market. It’s no wonder SculpSure is spreading like wildfire. Even NewBeauty Magazine has voted it as one of the “Eight Game-Changing Products of 2017.” With less cost and more results, SculpSure is sure to be the new method of choice for body-contouring.
