How Does SculpSure Actually Work?

SculpSure is a non-invasive (no surgery required) treatment that has been approved for targeting fatty areas around your legs, arms, abdomen, flank, and back.

SculpSure works its magic by utilizing heat from a laser to target fatty cells in the application area. The heat breaks down the structural support of the fat cells and over the next 12 weeks (varying some from person to person) your body’s lymphatic system will naturally remove the fat cells.

With this 25 minute procedure, up to 24% of the target area’s fat cells can be eliminated.

What Should I Expect from the SculpSure Process?

The treatment process for SculpSure is very straightforward. Following our complimentary consultation to determine the best approach for you, we will schedule out however many applications we have decided to do.

When it’s time to begin an application, we cleanse the treatment area, and secure the applicator(s) to the plastic templates for each area.

The treatment consists of a cycle of heating and cooling. The heating is for targeting the fat cells while the cooling helps keep your skin from overheating. The first 5 minutes of the treatment will be a buildup stage to help your body gradually adjust consisting of cycles – 10 seconds of cooling and 20 seconds of heating. After the first five minutes, we will run the treatment cycles for 20 minutes as a sustained intensity.

After the 25 minute application, you are immediately able to resume normal life. Whether you need to go back to work, run errands, or even go to the gym, you’re right back in the game! Get on your way to a slimmer you with a convenient 25-minute treatment and no downtime!

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

While the process begins working with the first treatment (and you’ll start to see and feel results too!), we generally recommend two treatments per area. If your desired results require more than two treatments, we can adjust our approach to include more.

Our recommendation would be to schedule a complimentary consultation to find out the best treatment plan for you.

How Quickly Will I See Results?

Many patients see initial results in only six weeks, but the best results are generally seen around 12 weeks.

One of the main benefits of SculpSure is how long the results last. The number of fat cells stored in our bodies typically remain constant throughout our adult life. After the SculpSure treatment, the destroyed fat cells will never return.

That is why when you may have tried to lose weight, certain areas may be more stubborn. When you lose weight, the size of the fat cells become smaller, but typically do not decrease in number. SculpSure allows your body to eliminate up to 24% of those fat cells, never to return!

Does SculpSure Hurt?

This is one of the questions we get most frequently from prospective patients. We understand that! While we wouldn’t say that SculpSure is completely painless, we can confidently say that any discomfort has been consistently tolerable for our clients.

Most patients feel a tingling sensation intermittently throughout the treatment, which is generally well-tolerated.

What’s My Next Step?

We recommend that you get a complimentary consultation if you want to learn more about the SculpSure treatment process and its results.

There’s no obligation, and we will help you understand the best treatment options for you!
