What “Same Day” Actually Means

Same day dental implants — sometimes called teeth in a day or immediate load implants — compress a process that used to take multiple appointments over many months into one carefully planned surgical visit.

Here’s how it works:

• Digital planning. A 3D scan maps your jawbone, nerves, and sinuses before you ever sit in the surgical chair. Dr. Vendetti plans the exact position, angle, and depth of every implant in advance.
• Extraction and placement. Any failing teeth are removed, and titanium implant posts are placed into the jawbone during the same appointment.
• Temporary teeth. A provisional restoration is attached so you leave with a functioning smile rather than an empty gap.
• Healing and final restoration. Over the following months, the implants fuse with your bone. Once healing is complete, your permanent restoration is placed.

The result: you don’t spend the healing period hiding your smile or struggling with a removable denture.
